WIE 2010- Workshop on Informatics in EducationWorkshop page in Greek

 

WIE 2010 is being held in conjunction with the 14th Panhellenic Conference on Informatics (PCI 2010) in Tripoli Greece, on September 10-12 2010. WIE 2010 is organized by the Department of Informatics, Ionian University, and Department of Informatics, University of Piraeus and the Greek Computer Society (EPY). WIE 2010 focuses on combining innovations in educational technologies with advanced learning procedures, techniques, tools and alternative processes. WIE 2010 topics of interest include, but are not limited to, educational practices and applications in the following areas:

Proceedings and Author Guidelines:

Proceedings will be published in a separate volume from those of PCI 2010. Authors should prepare their paper according to the template file and e-mail them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Proceedings will be printed after the workshop and will include all papers presented in WIE2010. Articles should be 8-10 pages long.

Participation in the Gala Dinner

The Gala will take place on Saturday, September 11 at the Nestani Village (8 km from Tripolis). At about 8:30, the dinner will be held in the Margiola Tavern, and at about 10:00-10:30 we will move to the village's central square, where a live music event will be organized, in cooperation with the Dancing Association of Tripolis. Participating musicians include Th. Mourlas (violin), N. Papailiou (clarinet), Lykouretzos (percussion instruments), Kyr. Markogiannakis (lute) and V. Karas (vocals).
In order to participate in the Gala dinner, a fee of 30 Euro must be paid along with the registration to the workshop.
